Wine production in Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada

Article

On the Wine Route you will find more than 150 wine houses; from those of small production, those of medium and those that are recognized worldwide.

The Valley is formed by the Valle de Guadalupe, San Antonio de las Minas, Ojos Negros, La Grulla, Santo Tomás and San Vicente.

In this area the star is definitely the wine, but it is also in the midst of incredible landscapes that will surprise you and a gastronomic offer that conquers all palates.

Not for nothing did Anthony Bourdain refer to this region as “A little Tuscany”, and that is why every year hundreds of tourists from all over the world come to be part of the Grape Harvest Festival; event that takes place at harvest time, where different pairings and collaborations with national and international chefs are carried out. It regularly starts with a festival in the center of Ensenada, then a gala and a Wine Show to give way to dinners, where, for example, there are 6-course dinners and high-end wines; each winery has its offer. You can’t also miss the Popular Verbena in Santo Tomás and the end of the festival with the traditional Paella Contest.

If you plan ahead of time, we recommend planning your experience by booking a hotel or airbnb in the valley with a view that will add to your experience.

Enjoy in the valley from breakfasts, brunches, tastings, dinners, wine-gastronomic experiences and other activities are part of this great celebration.
